Tether and Bitqik Open New Opportunities for Stablecoin Users in Laos

Tether, issuer of USDT, the world's largest stablecoin, has announced the expansion of its presence in Laos through a strategic partnership with local cryptocurrency platform Bitqik. The joint initiative aims to improve financial literacy among the population and develop infrastructure for the use of digital assets, including bitcoin and stackablecoins.As part of the collaboration, Tether and Bitqik will launch educational programs targeting local users to explain the benefits and features of working with digital currencies. Special attention will be paid to the security, transparency, and stability that steblecoins such as USDT provide. The effort is expected to bring access to modern financial instruments to more than 7 million Laotians.According to Bitqik, the country has seen a steady increase in interest in cryptocurrencies, with the number of users of the platform increasing by 30% over the past six months. The new education program is designed to support this trend by providing Laos residents with up-to-date knowledge and tools to use digital assets safely and effectively.The expansion of USDT's presence in Laos also contributes to the development of the local digital economy and the country's integration into global financial markets. Tether officials note that the partnership with Bitqik is an important step towards wider adoption of stackablecoins in the region.
